8th Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Streets in New York, N.Y.

The building is open from 5:00AM to 1:00AM daily.  Information on the opening hours for specific service and retailers within the Train Hall can be found in the directory

There are 4 entrances to the Train Hall – two are located on 8th Avenue at the corners with 31st and 33rd Streets.  The other two are located midway between 8th and 9th Avenues on 31st and 33rd Streets.

Amtrak and Long Island Railroad services will operate from Penn Station between 1:00AM and 5:00AM.

New Jersey Transit services are located in Penn Station, and we recommend you use the NJT concourse in Penn Station to access these trains.

Yes, public restrooms are located on both the concourse and first floor of the Train Hall. There are also restrooms available in the Ticketed Waiting Room and in the Metropolitan Lounge.

Yes, pets are allowed in the building so long as they are on a leash or in a carrier. Please note, a pet relief station is not provided in the Train Hall.

Yes, bikes can be brought into the Train Hall but must not be parked or ridden inside.  You must ensure you check with your railroad operator whether there are any restrictions to traveling with your bike.  More information for Amtrak passengers can be found here and for LIRR here

Yes! Connections are available to all three airports in the NYC metro area.  For more information, please visit the MTA website.  Information can also be found in the Train Hall at the AirTrain information kiosk.

Each of the platforms serving tracks 5 through to 16 provide direct access to both Moynihan Train Hall and Penn Station via escalators and elevators. Follow the signs on the platform.

Groups arriving at or departing from the Train Hall via private group transport should use 33rd Street for drop-off and pick-up.  

 

It is recommended that groups use the space between the AirTrain Information and Amtrak Ticketing and Customer Service as the group meeting point.  To locate this space, please review the directory

Luggage storage is provided by Amtrak for all passengers travelling through the station, regardless of the railroad provider you’re travelling with. Please visit the Amtrak Customer Service desk within the Train Hall to arrange luggage storage.
