Hub for the Region & the West Side

Improving Penn Station – the busiest transit facility in the Western Hemisphere, and linchpin of the transportation network of New York and the Northeast – has long been considered one of the state’s and the nation’s most critical infrastructure priorities. The Moynihan Train Hall project first emerged decades ago as the leading strategy to address many of the station’s most notorious issues and overcame countless hurdles thanks to persistent leadership from the community and their elected officials. Despite the many challenges presented in 2020, the project reached completion on time and on budget.

Welcoming the people of New York and the passengers arriving each day by Amtrak and LIRR, Moynihan Train Hall is a magnificent public gathering place, an epicenter connecting Penn Station to Hudson Yards, Manhattan’s Far West Side, and beyond. Moynihan Train Hall offers a food hall, with an emphasis on locally sourced products and purveyors of high-quality fresh foods. Stay tuned as exciting new shops & restaurants continue to open.

Dear New York, You Deserve the Greatest.
