Simón Gómez Villegas

SIMÓN GÓMEZ VILLEGAS (they/all) is a musician and writer from Bogotá, Colombia. Blending musical theatre with cinematic pop and Americana, Simón makes art that “transforms the mundane into magic”. They’ve served at a dinner theater in Alaska, worked backstage in Appalachia, and actively performs in almost every borough of NYC (still looking for a Staten Island gig). They’ve worn different hats in different places such as Mercury Store, The TEAM, Ars Nova, Musical Theater Factory, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Perelman Arts Center, and the American Repertory Theatre. At Moynihan, they’ll be performing fan favorites from the last 70 years. Prepare to sing along if the spirit calls you!
