Yalin Zhuang is a classically trained pianist based in New York City. Though rooted in traditional classical training, her artistry reaches beyond the score. She explores the piano as a space for reflection, embodiment, and transformation. Her practice often weaves in mindfulness, improvisation, and movement — honoring both the discipline and the freedom of music-making. She believes music should not only be performed, but lived — and that the act of playing is also an act of listening, healing, and connecting. Co-presented with ALT Alliance.
